The Fascia Releasing Series is all about bringing back balance to both your body and mind. This series is designed to release tension in the joints and smoothen the fascia - your interconnective tissue - throughout your whole body. It`s a perfectly gentle practice that will leave you more relaxed, at peace and free of tension. It is one of my favorite practices and I use it both in my group classes as well as with my private students and the effects of this practice are quite far-reaching. I have had students that were unable to practice a classic flow due to physical limitations that were able to sit cross-legged on the floor for the first time in 20 years. I have done this series with clients experiencing chronic stress and anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia as well as professional athletes and professionals working in a high-stress environment. I personally love to come back to this practice whenever I feel tired and exhausted or even when I feel a cold coming up.
As said before the practice is very gentle and it might take some students a moment to get used to it because in our Western world we are usually thought that harder and faster brings better results. This practice, however, relies on gentleness and stillness and I always like to emphasize that the slower you do the movements, the greater the effect will be on your body.
